We are Blessed

This doll baby was so sweet for these photos in her blessing dress. I bought this dress several months before she was born. Each of my girls have their own blessing dress to pass on to their girls, if they choose.

I made her a special bracelet to wear. She is such a little princess.

Her father gave her a beautiful name and a blessing. He came back from a long trip in Korea to bless her.

The men in the blessing circle added to the power of her blessing. Here are most of the men who participated. What a good looking group.

The Harris unit is growing. What darling children we are blessed with, even if capturing a picture is truly difficult.

We cherish our little Norine Ann. She is named after her great-grandmother Norine Reber Marshall and her mother Ann Marshall Harris. We affectionately call her Nora.

I love blessing day. I always look forward to the blessing and the name being recorded on the records of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is now known to all the Heavens as Norine Ann Harris.

It was very hard for Tyler and me to come up with the perfect name for our sweet daughter. With our other children we knew fairly quickly what we would name each one. With Norine, we did not decide until about a three weeks before she was born. I had tried calling her several different names for months, but nothing settled in until be began calling her Norine. It was an instant fit for her, even if it took some time to grow on me. Now, I can't imagine naming her any other name. Her name is so dear to us. She is our diamond and we love her so.
