In memory of my sweet nephew Jack

In memory of my sweet nephew, Jack. He touched each life around him. He changed us all for the better. His parents have demonstrated the strength of lions and the tenderness of lambs. His heart was too delicate for this world we endure. I love this little man. My heart is forever engraved upon with his little finger. He entered into our Heavenly Father's rest yesterday, December 29, 2008. How grateful I am for the knowledge of Eternal Life and our Father's great plan. How grateful I am my little sister, little brother, and their little Megan are forever sealed to our little man Jack.
Though this knowledge does in no way take away
the pain and suffering that accompanies the loss of a loved one, it does relieve the sting. We know through the restored gospel that death is not the end. We know that children who return to their Father before the age of accountability enter His Celestial Kingdom. As it was revealed to the prophet Joseph Smith, Jr., "The Lord takes many away even in infancy, that they may escape the envy of man, and the sorrows and the evils of this present world; they were too pure, too lovely, to live on the earth; therefore, if rightly considered, instead of mourning we have reason to rejoice as they are delivered from evil, and we shall soon have them again."

Good bye little one. I will miss you. I hope to feel your influence through-out my life and the life of my children. I pray you will be enabled to be a guardian angel to your eternal family, along side our dear earthly father, Terry Marshall. You share his anniversary exit from this mortal world with your passage into it by a mere two days later. I know you will assist him in preparing for the return of our Master, Jesus Christ, the Savior of the World.
